no future left behind

Wow. what a video.  I would first like to say that I don't really know the way these children relate to my education.  They say that I had the chance but I lived in the in between years of education and internet.  I do see their point though, we need to change but as educators we are restricted by standards and curriculum.  I've seen many different types of videos and presentations on why we should change but I think they are barking up the wrong tree.  If change is needed then the restrictions must come off.  It's not educators that are keeping the status quote but the government.  Change the regulations and free up the system to breed change instead of holding all schools to the same standards.  The other thing is how do the poorer children fit into these children's future? What of those who cannot be on the internet at home and don't know the basest of educational standards?  Those with no support at home?  Education is  like pants everyone wears em differently.
